Today's topic: Callao's graffitis

The old port area becomes an open-air art gallery every weekend. A tour goes through its graffiti streets, the same ones that were once impassable due to insecurity but that today shine among atelieres, creative workshops and a lot of Chalaco talent.

The walls of Monumental Callao have their own voice. Colossal mansions talk about the time of Callao boom during the Republic. The cracks account for the passing of the years. And its colored walls announce the great change: art is here to stay.

In front of the Plaza Matriz and in full color, a mural suggests that there are angels that protect the neighborhood. Along the way have been impregnated characters such as Héctor Lavoe (who also has a life-size statue), Sarita Colonia and heroes of flesh and blood who today prefer not to talk.
