Barranco: Distrito Bohemio

Barranco was initially created by fishermen and was officially incorporated as a district in 1874, being called San José de Surco. On weekends it´s the busiest point in Lima for its variety of bars, clubs, creole clubs, among others. Both young and old people usually go to Barranco to have fun in search of the so-called "Magic Barranquina", a special essence that leads to the past with its houses, its streets and its Bohemian atmosphere.
